Ray Cyr Jr. is considered one of the top bowlers in the area. In the Thursday night Classic League at Pin-O-Rama in Utica, he carries a 227 average. On Tuesdays in the PBA Experience League at Bowl Mor Lanes in Syracuse, he has a 200 average.  He’s rolled — count them — 57 perfect games and 25 800 series. His top series of all time is 852.

Cyr, of New Hartford, maintained his high level of bowling with wins over Tim Becker and 2000 champion Dean Distin. Cyr leads the tournament with a 233.6 average and he has won his matches by an average of 102 pins.

 Adams (229.1), looking to redeem himself from a 0-2 match play finish last year, defeated Don Towsley and Chris Leonard to remain unbeaten. He will meet Burnet when double-elimination match play resumes 11:30 a.m. today at Lakeview Bowling Center in Liverpool.

New Hartford right-hander Ray Cyr Jr. delivers clutch strikes in 203-198 win over Tom Humphrey. 

Ray Cyr Jr. was named the 2008-2009 Utica Bowling Association Scratch Bowler of the Year. Ray had the high average in the city at 243 and the high series with 835. This is the highest sanctioned season average ever in Utica.

Ray Cyr took home the All-Events title this year at the New York State Tournament. This is his 4th NYS title. 

Ray picked up another win this weekend at Sportsmans Bowl. 

Ray capped off a nice weekend by winning the State Bowl singles tournament in Ilion, NY. 

Ray Cyr rolled an 833 series in match play at Flamingo to set a new Masters record. During his drive in from New Hartford on Saturday, Ray Cyr pondered his first match play appearance in The Post-Standard Masters Bowling Tournament at Flamingo Bowl.

Ray qualified 9th at the PBA Regional at Valley Lanes in Waverly, N.Y. Matchplay begins Sunday morning with the Round of 16. 

Ray came in second place this weekend at Donatos Tournament in Schenectady. 

The strong field featured PBA champion Kurt Pilon and the legendary Mark Roth. Former Team USA member Rhino Page took home the first place prize of $6,000.

Ray qualified in the top spot for Sunday's finals at King Pin Lanes. 

Now that the bowling season is over, let's see who stood out... 

Moro edged out Ray Cyr Jr. to win the Bud Light Shootout at Lighthouse Lanes on Saturday night. Eventual Bud Bowl champion Dennis Killough rounded out the top 3.

Ray bowled 894 Monday in Oswego, cementing a spot in Sunday's finals. He also qualified for the Bud Light Shootout on Saturday night with a high game of 279.

Sal Jr. won the 2007 State Bowl Singles tournament. Ray Cyr Jr. and Larry Porter came in 2nd and 3rd. 

Ray Cyr, Chris Sorensen, Larry Porter, Chris Brockway and Doug Stoddard win the UBA team event. Ray also won the singles title and the all events title.

Mike Tryniski defeated Ray Cyr Jr. to win the Player's Championship at Laurel Lanes. 

Gary Kinyon of Lockport, NY, and Ray Cyr, New Hartford, NY, won the fifth and final qualifying squad in the MoRich Over and Under Doubles Championship to advance to the third round of the finals later today. 

Ray fell just short of capturing his first N.E.B.A. title at AMF Milford Lanes. Bill Webb defeated him for his 10th career title.

Ray Cyr shot 1038 with a 300 game to take the lead at the 2006 Bud Bowl at Lighthouse Lanes. Ray has rolled the only two 300 games and has the only two qualifying scores of 1000+ in the 19 year history of the Super Bud Bowl.

Ray Cyr Jr. started the Coors Light Challenge week off with a nice start. Ray shot 830 to receive a 2-round bye. 

Ray Cyr captured his third Adirondack Open title by capturing the top seed and defeating Joe Losurdo in the championship match. Sal Acquaviva Jr. and Dan Klockowski came in 3rd and 4th, respectively.

Ray Cyr Rolls 300-547 To Win Mini Eliminator Bonus Event. 

Ray Cyr, Utica, NY posted a 2 game score of 547 to win the Bonus Tournament at The 2005 Super Bowl Mini Eliminator and $3,000. 

Ray Cyr Jr. started bowling at age 13 for the Whitesboro High School Varsity team. When he graduated high school, he attended Erie Community College and studied Bowling Management. During his PBA career, he became a representative for Columbia Bowling Balls......

In a battle between two mid-state right-handers, Ray Cyr Jr. of Utica out-scored Kevin Ashby of Auburn, 252-232 , in the title match of the 15th annual New York State Masters Tournament. The event was held at Ideal Lanes in Endicott over the March 29 & 30 weekend.
